it's been a great day for me...hmmm..actually not me,is maria sharapova, the first seed in the tournament and will be retain her number one ranking in the world when the official ranking release on monday. congrate ya!
this morning, i watched the women's semifinal between serena william and nicole vaidisova.i think nicole's chance was pretty good,but she just can't stopping doing those unforced error. eventually lost in straight set to the unstopable serena, 7-6 6-3.so serena was there in the final...quite danger there!
then the match followed by another semifinal between the number one seed maria sharapova and the forth seed kim clijster.the pressure of the match was started in the first game of the first set.they all hold their serve to 1-1.then kim broke maria's serve next and earned a 2-1 lead, inside my heart i said "oh man, die dy this time".but haha...maria also broke kim's serve to 2-2 all.the pressure continue...kim was almost broke when she was 0-40 down.maria wasn't giving up!she fired out some winner and aces,and she did broke kim afterwards.as the result, she wrapped up the first set.the pressure was followed to the second set.as kim desperetely earned a couple of break point,maria served out 4 double fault in one game!but nothing can stop her from taking the set!the final score was a bit unbelieveable,it's 6-4 6-2. can u believe it?as many ppl did thought kim will win.28 winners and 7 or 8 aces(as i remembered).what a match...!the final is on saturday,maria sharapova vs serena william.i think serena's chance is abit higher as many people say but...i believe i believe in maria!!!!!
